These are human recordings linked from English Wiktionary entries and city-specific Wikipedia articles. US recordings are preferred when available; other English accents are identified. Contributors and licenses are listed below. These are community dictionary recordings, not a guarantee of one universally preferred local pronunciation.

We do not synthesize, assemble word fragments, or guess pronunciations. Names without a suitable sourced recording have disabled speaker buttons. Ambiguous recordings for Newark and Montpelier are omitted. Albany and Helena use recordings explicitly identifying the correct US city. Des Moines uses the separate public-domain DesMoines.ogg recording from Wikimedia Commons, not the flagged Wiktionary recordings.
